Bobby Womack
Robert Dwayne “Bobby” Womack singer songwriter and Musician. An active recording artist since the early 1960s. He started his career as the lead singer of his family musical group The Valentinos and as Sam Cookes backing guitarist, Womack’s career has spanned more than 50 years and has spanned a repertoire in the styles of Gospel,R&B, Soul, Rock and Roll, Doo Wop,Funk, Soul Blues,Counrty Soul, Rock and Jazz
With the release of The Bravest Man in the Universe, his first album in twenty years which has thrown him back into the limelight.
Shot this image of Bobby at Ronnie Woods house in Richmond which was great for me as I was living in Richmond. They were doing an interview for a Magazine. I then photographed Bobby back in my Paddington Studio. Both incredibly lovely people.
