Carl Perkins (April 9, 1932 January 19, 1998).Was an rockabilly musician who started recording at Sun Records Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1954. His best known song is “Blue Suede Shoes”.
Carl Perkins songs were recorded by artists such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash,Jimi Hendrix, and The Beatles. Paul McCartney once said If there were no Carl Perkins, there would be no Beatles.
