Christine Ellen Hynde. Chrissie Hynde was the founding member The Pretenders. Chrissie formed the band in 1978 with Pete Farndon, James Honeyman-Scott and Martin Chambers. She is the only continuous member of the band, appearing on every studio album. Chrissie also recorded a number of song with other musicians such as UB40, Cher, Frank Sinatra.
This image of Chrissie was shot in my Paddington Studio. I’ve been lucky enough to work with the Pretenders – Chrissie from their original line up to a few different line ups a number of times over the years.
