Duran Duran formed in Birmingham in 1978. One of the most successful bands of the 1980s. They have had 14 singles in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart and 21 in the Billboard Hot 100. It’s estimated they have sold more than 100 million records.
I first worked with Duran Duran just before they went global in 1980 in London. Great to work with. Second time in my own Studio in Chelsea in 1981. By then they were massive and were followed by a film crew making a documentary who were really fucking annoying!
