The frontman for bands such as Streetband and Q-Tips. Paul then had huge solo success which turned him into a 1980s teen idol. “Wherever I Lay My Hat That’s My Home” went to number one in the charts. Followed by more hit singles as “Love of the Common People”, , “Come Back and Stay”, “Everytime You Go Away” and “Oh Girl”. His debut album No Parlez turned him into a household name.
