The frontman for bands such as Streetband and Q-Tips. Paul then had huge solo success which turned him into a 1980s teen idol. “Wherever I Lay My Hat That’s My Home” went to number one in the charts. Followed by more hit singles as “Love of the Common People”, “Come Back and Stay”, “Everytime You Go Away” and “Oh Girl”. His debut album No Parlez soon turned him into a household name.
