Poly Styrene Marianne Joan Elliott-Said (3 July 1957 25 April 2011).Stage name Poly Styrene, songwriter and singer.After watching the Sex Pistols play a gig on Hastings Pier to an empty hall.Poly thought anyone could do that and formed the punk rock band X-Ray Spex.
