Steve Strange. Who started as a night club host and promoter. Went onto form the group Visage releasing “Fade to Grey” which was a massive hit amongst many. Steve was one of the most influential figures behind the New Romantic movement.
I first met and worked with Steve at Tony Brainsby PR office through Magenta Devine who was then working for Tony. Found a wall in their very busy office shot off a couple of 35mm rolls black & White and Colour. Let Magenta have a shot for a PR promo and the rest was syndicated through LFI. Steve was great to photograph. I heard later that week from Magenta that Steve liked working with us. Another shoot was set up. Worked with Steve a good few times and loved every minute.
