Ozzy Osbourne rock vocalist, songwriter, and television personality. Ozzy Osbourne was the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath, the dark and heavy sound was a key development of the heavy metal. Ozzy left Black Sabbath in 1979 to pursue a successful solo career, releasing 11 studio albums. He has re joined Black Sabbath a number of times, most recently in 2011 to record the album 13, which was released in 2013. Osbourne’s longevity and success have earned him the informal title of “Godfather of Heavy Metal”. Osbourne’s total album sales are over 100 million.
This set of photos were taken at Holloway Sanatorium in Virginia Waters in Surrey while they were shooting the Video for Bark At The Moon. The performance with the band part was filmed in L.A.
Huge building, went on for what seemed like miles and very spooky. The main hall was amazing along with the main staircase. I managed to get a couple of set up’s in before Ozzy went into Make Up for his prosthetics wolf outfit which took hours to do. It looked amazing as you can see. The video shoot was shot after at night for obvious reasons which made feel pretty weird being there!
